Is there any difference between "olla ristiriidassa" and "olla ristiriidoissa"? Or do both mean equally well "to be at odds with, to be in conflict with" ?

For example:
Hänen omat toivonsa ovat ristiriidassa muiden kanssa. - His own hopes are at odds with others.
(Could you use "ristiriidoissa" as well?)
